Rose & Nilesh

Peckforton Castle

Words fail me ... stunning work ladies I cannot thank you enough and would highly recommend you. Perfection is what it was. Beautifully decorated both the Great Hall where we got married and the wedding breakfast room .., and my flowers were just spectacular
Thanks so much ... Peckforton Castle in itself is a stunning venue but these ladies made it look like a celebrity wedding
Thank you so much
— Rose & Nilesh

Rose found us through a listing we placed in Wed2Be and we met her half way, because she is a wonderful Yorkshire lass.  Right from the off, she had a clear idea of what she wanted for her special day.  Classy elegance was the theme she had chosen.  Utilising whites and creams to keep the romantic feel against the dramatic castle backdrop that is Peckforton Castle.

The reality of wedding budgets are that everyone has a figure in mind that they want to spend.  Rose & Nilesh wanted to give their friends and family a fabulous meal, great drinks, a stunning venue and a romantic set of dressings.  They did not want to spend the earth, because the day was about them saying their vows to each other and celebrating with their loved ones, some of whom travelled thousands of miles to be there with them on their special day.

Firstly for the flowers, Rose wanted a classy but inexpensive silk bouquets for her and her bridesmaid and some button holes for her important gentlemen.  We are not florists, we leave the fresh flowers to our talented suppliers.  However, we work well with silk flowers.  Rach made the stunning bridal flowers for a fraction of the cost of real, for a simple but elegant look on the day.

Rose chose to walk down a petalled, white carpet to her Nilesh, adorned with beautiful stone pillars (hired from our lovely friends at 2lips) that housed our own small blossom trees, lit with candled conicles.

Rose & Nilesh picked crisp, white chair linens with an ivory organza sash to bring light and gentile grace to the Great Hall.

Our trusted supplier, Tansy Shorrock, from Hipswing, provided uplighters in the colour of the year, ultra violet.  We kept the colour palette simple aside from that to give a gentle romantic feel to this dramatic castle backdrop.  We lit the sides with varying sizes of church candle to keep the lighting gentle.  From the balcony above we hung fairy lights to break up the light up there, hiding a small angel within them to represent Rose's mum who sadly passed away towards the end of last year and who could only be there with her daughter in spirit.  We love the look of joy on Rose's face as she entered the room to marry her true love and saw what we had done for her.

This is a couple who personify true love and the products they chose reflect this perfectly.  For the wedding breakfast the blossom trees were transferred to the main tables and the top table had low level candles in glass and blush.  Table stationery, settings and favours finished off the look really nicely.

But still for us, the nicest thing about the whole wedding planning business is when we get the snapshots of the day.  A massive thanks to Rose & Nilesh for their kind words and for sending all of these images of their loved ones enjoying their wedding day.

Rose & Nilesh had a budget of £1,000 for the dressings on their wedding day and we managed to bring this in on budget for them.  A truly beautifully day, worthy of a Pinterest stature.

Congratulations to th' new Mr & Mrs Patel.  You could be forgiven for thinking that's a typo, but being a good Yorkshire couple, they'll get it!
