KIM & TONY
Kim and Tony had loads of ideas about what would make their wedding day perfect. They had a healthy budget to make this happen and chose some fabulous bespoke products to make it a show stopper. This wedding was a lovely collaboration to be part of and we think you will agree that the photographs speak for themselves. A true Pinterest worthy wedding!
After a morning of gorgeous hair and make up being done and a delivery of gorgeous floristry from 2lips florist, in Stockton Heath, it was time to head off to the church. 2lips had done beautiful gypsophilia bunches to line the aisle, although with such a cute flower girl leading you down the aisle I dare say that nobody was looking at the flowers!
For anybody wondering why we use mainly one florist for our happy couples, all you have to do is take a look at the quality of their work to see why. 2lips are a talented company, that work with the trends and the flowers of the season to ensure that you have the best look to compliment your theme throughout the day. Our only concern about Kim was that she is so petite and her flowers were heavy! Fortunately pounding the gym several times a week had given her incredible strength in her arms, to be able to support this gorgeous bouquet all day.
Kim and Tony loved all of our bespoke products, choosing swagging for the staircase in their colour scheme, bespoke welcome signage and our absolute favourite, the order of service clock. We work with our clients to personalise these to represent the timings of the day with rustic charm. Signage to guide the guests to the ceremony and the photobooth sat next to the clock to help orientate guests to the attractions of the day. Our artist Gabrielle Anderson hand painted all of our personalised pieces. We are a local business working with local businesses wherever we can.
They chose a rustic table plan, which we personalised with their name and date and filled with matching florals to help the flow of the venue.
A sweet treats table completed the welcome to Inglewood Manor, a beautiful bolt hole in the Chester countryside.
Time to hop of to the vintage double decker bus for a glass of fizz and to escape the rain that popped in briefly.
Fortunately the rain was only brief and was over before it even started.
But just to note, we have all matching umbrellas that we will drop at the venue free of charge if you are one of our happy couples. It's just one of the finishing touches that we offer to ensure that your day is just perfect for you.
As you can see, Kim & Tony did not let it spoil their day, instead rolled with it for one of the most beautiful informal pictures of the day.
Moving in to the wedding breakfast, the guests were treated to a floral sensation from our talented friends at 2Lips, with added balloons from a lovely supplier, Wirral Balloon Company. A truly stunning backdrop for this vintage themed venue. The stationery theme continued with bespoke place setting cards and table numbers completing the elegant look.
For the rest of the day, Kim & Tony enjoyed fine wine, food and a fabulous band in the evening. In our opinion they spent their money wisely to make this day fabulous and as you have seen from the photography, Claire did an amazing job of capturing not just the memories but the love between the two of them. Kim & Tony chose to have their top table for just the two of them, which is becoming increasingly popular with our happy couples as family sizes grow, not wanting to leave anyone out. After all the excitement, all that was left to do was to party and that is just what Mr & Mrs Allen did. With their friends and families all joined in connection by the nuptials, they had the most fun ever!
Kim & Tony utilised technology to help them communicate with us, something that we love doing here at Festival Events and Planning. On the initial meeting with new Clients we set up a WhatsApp group to ensure that they always have quick access to both of us and it enables brides, grooms an significant others to stay in the loop with what needs to be sorted out. We spent hours chatting this way with Kim particularly, to keep her calm and discuss ideas. So much so that a few weeks after the wedding, Kim contacted us through the group to say goodbye before she closed it down on her phone. Lara and I felt as sad as Kim did about this wedding finishing as it was so much fun to do to work with them on their dream day.
So all in it was a perfect day for a perfect couple. But don't take our word for it..... always better to hear from the happy couple.
Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Allen. It was so much fun. Now, about that vow renewal..... #justsaying
