Sarah & Michael only had six weeks to go when they booked us.  They had originally planned to do the decor themselves for the day, but when they met us on an open day at Eleven Didsbury Park and realised that we were more reasonable than they thought, they decided to give themselves more of a relaxing day!

Their wedding was split across their church in Stockport, Eleven Didsbury Park for the wedding breakfast and then the Didsbury Park Hotel for the evening.  Here at Festival HQ we love the Eclectic Hotel group, featuring these two gorgeous places in Didsbury and two beautiful boutique hotels in Manchester.

The happy couple started with a bespoke welcome sign and table plan and of course used our vintage postbox to keep their lovely gifts from loved ones safe and sound.

For the tables, the bride and groom chose low level candles, with a blush sash.  There was a slight variation on the top table with side bows and some our manufactured personalised table numbers.

Sarah's Mum sadly lost her best friend prior to the wedding, who had been big part of Sarah's life.  To best represent this we attached a white feather in to the bow that was behind the beautiful Mother-of-the-Bride as we know that her friend Debbie will have had her back for the day.  The top table was finished off with a beautiful 3 m floral swagging piece by Lara.

Without knowing it was there you would not have seen it as demonstrated in the pictures below

Sometimes it is better to have a long table of more guests than smaller of less, particularly when you have lots of friends coming.

The reason that we loved Sarah & Michael's wedding so much, was the attention to detail.  For favours they chose different shots to be scattered in no particular order across the guests, with matching chocolates and beautiful place settings.  This was designed with conversation in mind.  So if a guest got a shot they did not like, they had to chat to someone who had one that they did.  This is a particularly great idea for guests to get to know each other.  We think you will agree that the overall effect of all of these combined is absolutely stunning.

This venue is a gorgeous place for bringing the outside in to you wedding, having a covered, heated courtyard and being bathed in natural flowers and greenery.  It just looks beautiful all year round with different alcoves providing differing frames for unique photography.

Sarah & Michael can't wait to show us their official pictures and we can't wait to see them too.

They had a budget of £750 for the dressings with additional funding for the favours and place settings.  This was a reasonable budget for such a gorgeous wedding.  Beautiful choices from a beautiful couple.  Congratulations to the newest Mr & Mrs Flannery in town.
