Arley Hall

In a beautiful, tucked away corner of North West England, is an Estate with stunning views of the surrounding Cheshire countryside.  Here are some of the reasons why we here at Festival HQ love.........

..Arley Hall

Home of your dream day

As well as being the first choice venue to host my daughter's 21st birthday this year, I wanted to share with you a few reasons why Arley Hall and Gardens is one of Festival's favourite venues in Cheshire.

When we first met with Arley Hall's Heritage Portfolios Limited, shortly after forming Festival Events & Planning in September 2017, they decided to give us a trial and let us dress the top table in their very grand dining room, for their wedding open day in October last year.  You might think that this is why Lara and I love this venue and its fabulous staff so much.  But the truth is, this venue is stand-alone spectacular and we defy anyone not to love it.  Not only is it the Peaky Blinders Shelby residence, but it has the most stunning grounds for miles around with award winning, breathtaking gardens and grounds to host the perfect event.

The Hall itself has a beautiful suite upstairs for the Bride and her significant ladies, on the morning of your event.  Looking around the Hall, it is steeped in history, with a splendid elegance that lends itself to events and filming alike, which is why it has been so popular with location scouts and hankered after by venue dressers alike.

The Olympia Suite has a modern meets traditional twist and lends itself to both styles beautifully.  The bonus to this section of the Estate is its adaptability for the weather, with the added option of the stunning Courtyard being covered with a bespoke glass marquee to protect you and your guests from the outside elements.

We are so excited to get our creative little hands on this for my daughter's birthday in June, where we will be turning the courtyard in to a floral heaven, with a stunning white party. The perfect simplistic backdrop to highlight the beauty of the brickwork and to compliment the history of the building itself.

From the first walk round that Lara and I had with one of their excellent Masters of Ceremony, we knew that we wanted to dress The Cruck Barn to showcase this gorgeous building, firmly established in the history of the estate.  The Cruck Barn was the original drying room for harvested wheat from the surrounding area and has been loved and nurtured by the staff to ensure the preservation of this historical gem.

With gorgeous open windows at the top of the barn, letting the light and fresh air stream in to your wedding ceremony, the gentle fragrance from the surrounding flowers and herbs and the rustic beauty of a decade and a half old beams, this barn is a true treasure.  The rafters provide the perfect backdrop to the cream, traditionally covered walls.  The overall effect in its raw state is just beautiful and today, we got the venue dressers dream opportunity, to provide our very own unique styling to add to this gorgeous location.

We chose blush, this season's favourite colour, to compliment the beautiful wood within the Barn.

It only took us one visit to fall in love with The Cruck Barn and we know that all of the beautiful Brides and Grooms that booked today at the fabulous Open Day, will feel exactly the same.
